Park to close on Sunday, October 1st at Noon. Reservations for the campground at Whitewater Township Park will be available online starting Monday, April 3, 2023 at 9 am. The park has begun its 2023 pre-season preparations and this web page will be updated as soon as possible. The park offers electric at all 55 sites, a bathhouse w/coin operated showers, boat launch, picnic area w/pavilion, nature trails, playground, fishing, and swimming. Ice and wood are available on-site. Sewer and water are not available at the sites. The park sells bundled split hardwood. No outside wood or burning materials are allowed.
Campground 2023 Season
Must be 18 years of age to reserve camping sites.
Holiday weekend minimum is 3 nights (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends).
All sites have electric only. No water or sewer hookup at the sites. We have an immaculately maintained bathhouse with men's and women's restrooms and 5 individual entrance coin-operated showers (4 regular, 1 ADA accessible). There is a dump station with potable water.

May 5 and 6 - Free Camping Weekend
May 7 thru June 11 - $39.00 per night
June 12 thru September 3 - $46.00 per night
September 4 thru Sept 30 - $39.00 per night
Additional Adult Camping Unit Fee
There is an additional $25 per night camping fee when more than one adult camping unit is placed on a site.

$8.00 per reservation, non-refundable on all transactions, including booking errors. Please double-check your month and dates when booking!!
Refund Policy
With at least 14 days’ notice of change in arrival and/or departure date that results in an overpayment, a refund will be issued, with the exception of the $8.00 reservation fee + the 1st night camping fee. If less than 14 days' notice, no refund will be issued.
Full camping fee only refunds will be given under certain limited circumstances. The $8.00 reservation fee is nonrefundable. Full camping fee refunds must be approved by the Parks & Recreation Administrator.
No refunds will be given for early departure based on the weather or other discomforts of nature.

Seasonal CampingThe "seasonal camper" period is a 67-night stay beginning the Thursday before 4th of July weekend and ending with checkout on Monday of Labor Day weekend. Seasonal camper sites are booked in February for the upcoming season. Sites are assigned on a first come/first serve basis and must be paid in full within 30 days of reservation.

Seasonal/Annual Pass: Whitewater Township Resident $30.00* Non-Resident $60.00 (*You must show ID or a utility bill in your name with a Whitewater Township address to prove residency.) Whitewater Township Park Pavilion
Pavilion reservations will be accepted beginning May 1, 2023, for the upcoming season. Call 231-633-0170 (when the park is closed) to reserve a date. Call the ranger station 231-267-5091 May through early September.
The picnic/pavilion area includes a marked swimming area (swim at your own risk; there is no lifeguard on duty), charcoal grills, large fire pit, and a hand pump for drinking water. Electricity is available when renting the pavilion. Rental Fee: $100.00 Reservation fees shall be waived for school groups and non-profit organizations whose physical address is in Whitewater Township. Pavilion Refund Policy If cancellation is 30 days or more in advance, $25.00 of the $100.00 fee is non-refundable. If cancellation is less than 30 days in advance, no refund will be issued. All fees subject to change without notice. |
Boat Ramp
A two-lane asphalt boat ramp with parking area (handicap accessible) and portable toilets (handicap accessible) are located adjacent to the picnic area.
Nature Trails
Within Whitewater Township Park, there are approximately 2 miles of nature trails that wind through various landscape and gentle terrain. Maps are available at the Ranger Station located at the entrance to the campground.
