Persons within the WMDLS Road Special Assessment District that are Senior Citizens ro Totally and Permanently Disabled may qualify for a loan from the State of Michigan to pay the Special Assessment. On March 1, 2011, the 2010 property taxes are to be paid to the Grand Traverse County Treasurer. Please call 231-922-4735 for the balance due.

Attention Whitewater Township Taxpayer
Whitewater Township Treasurer no longer automatically mails a receipt for your tax payment unless you specifically request one by marking the designated area on your return slip. We have instituted this policy in an effort to reduce the cost of administrative operations expenses. Please keep in mind that the State of Michigan and the Federal government recognize your cancelled check and your mortgage statement as proof of payment.
